BEING PREPARED

Have you considered what you would do if you "break down" when you are out and about in your wheelchair? With regret, DGT Services Ltd do not provide either a recovery service or kerbside repairs, should you break down whilst using your wheelchair when out and about. As part of the conditions of supply from your Wheelchair Service, it is the responsibility of the Service User to take out insurances and to get themselves back home.

We do advise that you prepare for this unforeseen situation. Consider what you would do if this happened. Have you got insurance cover that includes Recovery? Could you use a local cab company? Will you need a vehicle with ramp or tail lift?

BE PREPARED! Make sure you have any useful contact telephone numbers with you, just in case.
