This is vital, as we recycle and refurbish wheelchairs on behalf of NHS Wheelchair Services. Not only does this ensure the best use of scarce funds, but it also means that we are all doing our bit for the environment, reducing waste and our carbon footprint. And everything the we recondition passes through full decontamination.
Deliveries
We deliver equipment on behalf of and at the request of the responsible Wheelchair Service. Delivery will usually include a full demonstration of the equipment and adjustment of certain parts, such as the footplate height and hip strap, which is important.
More complex wheelchairs tend to be adjusted to the service user’s needs at a follow-up visit from the wheelchair service clinician.
